Young woman, man charged with torture, attempted murder after man found clinging to life in Mount Mee, QLD

A young woman and a man have been accused of holding captive and torturing a 23-year-old man who was found in life-threatening condition.

The Brisbane man remains in critical condition in hospital after police found him with serious head injuries at a property in Mount Mee, west of Cabooltureon Wednesday evening.

A 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both local residents, were detained.

A heavy police presence, including forensics, remained at the property throughout Thursday.

The woman and the man are charged with attempted murder.

They were also charged with deprivation of liberty, maiming, wounding, grievous bodily harm and illegal possession of a weapon.

They also face one count each of recording a “genital or anal area” in violation of privacy, police said.

Both are due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on Friday.
